Application Being Accepted for 4R 3Pn Cod Reproductive Potential Survey

  Applications are now being accepted for members of the 4R 3Pn – based otter trawl fleet (mobile groundfish licence holders only) to conduct Cod Reproductive Potential Survey in 4R 3Pn.     Deadline for applications for this survey is Friday, April 18th @ 4:00 p.m.     Interested applicants who are eligible are encouraged to call Myra at the FFAW office in Corner Brook for more details @ 634-0277.

FISHERIES AND OCEANS CANADA NOTICE TO FISH HARVESTERS nf.14.040B   Apr. 10, 2014 SNOW CRAB SEASON OPENING FOR CRAB FISHING AREAS 10A and 4 DFO advises that the Snow Crab fishery in Crab Fishing Area 10A and Crab Fishing Area 4, will open at 6:00 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2014.   Fish harvesters are reminded that fishing gear may not be set until after the opening time. Licence fees and licence conditions are available through the national online licencing system.(NOLS)
